Self Reflection

Through a series of real-world observations and conversations, I developed a stronger understanding of how communication, hiring,leadership, and career development play out in professional settings. Observing team dynamics in a fast-paced environment helped me see how essential clear communication, teamwork, and flexibility are to maintaining efficiency and delivering good service—especially during stressful moments. It also showed me how much a positive attitude and mutual respect can impact the workplace atmosphere.
Learning about hiring practices gave me new insight into what employers look for. I realized that technical knowledge is only one part of what makes a strong candidate—qualities like adaptability, a willingness to learn, and strong interpersonal skills are just as important. It helped me understand how I can better prepare myself when applying for future roles. Talking with someone in the marketing field opened my eyes to the different paths people take in their careers. I learned how important it is to stay curious, keep building real-world experience, and be open to learning new tools and strategies. It was also a good reminder that networking and asking questions can lead to unexpected opportunities.
Finally, reflecting on leadership in the workplace made me realize that the best leaders don’t just manage—they support, guide, and uplift their team. I saw how leadership is less about authority and more about communication, encouragement, and creating space for others to grow. Even though not all of these experiences are directly related to my current role, they gave me valuable perspectives that I can carry with me into any professional environment.
